Earlier today, that is Friday, OnePlus started distributing its newest and latest software update in the form of OxygenOS 5.1.4 for its 2017’s models OnePlus 5 and 5T, to improve the camera and Bluetooth issues. The default OnePlus camera installed on both the previous year phones will now deliver clearer and sharper photos.
The security update is also of July 2018 and there is also the ‘sleep standby optimization’ for improving the battery life and duration even more.
The update also includes the group messaging support and solves a ringtone bug which was present previously in OnePlus 5 and 5T.
The 2017 phones will keep getting the new updates as has been announced by OnePlus, since the phone models are also not too old to ignore.
Previously the camera pictures had some issues as many users weren’t able to get more vibrant and clear snaps. But now, they will surely get it done and why not! After all, the OnePlus 5 and 5T are the flagships themselves-whose cameras get compared to big names like iPhone X, 8 Plus, and Samsung Note 8 and S9.
