Actress Asin Thottumkal and husband Rahul Sharma are now blessed with their first child, a baby girl. The news was announced officially by the Ghajini actress on Instagram account where she stated, “We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last nine months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our wellwishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support.”
Asin and Rahul Sharma, the founder of Micromax mobiles entered wedlock on January 19th, 2016 in Delhi in a Christian wedding ceremony. It must be noted that Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who had worked with the actress in Khiladi 786 served as Rahul’s Best Man during the Hindu ritual wedding ceremony.
Hailing from Kerala, Asin made her acting debut in Malayalam before venturing into other south Indian languages. However, she went on to become one of the most popular actresses in the Tamil film industry after starring in a line of hits namely M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi, Ullam Ketkumae, Ghajini, Majaa, Sivakasi, Varalaru, Pokkiri, Vel and Dasavathaaram.
Her last big Tamil film appearance was opposite Vijay in the super-hit Kaavalan in 2011 followed by her final starring role in the Hindi film, All Is Well in 2015.
