Zack Snyder/Joss Whedon’s Justice League has finally crossed the $100 million mark, domestically, on US box-office! It did touch the mark, but on the fourth day of its arrival, and not in the regular three-day opening week. On Monday the film grossed another $7.5 million, to push its US collections over $100 million.
But there’s a slight competition to this Warner Bros entry, by Disney/Pixar’s Coco whose preview screenings will begin tonight.
Justice League has to perform big during the ongoing breaks at the box-office as there is no big rival in the form of any huge release. The next big release will now be straightly in December, when Disney’s Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi will get released.
Now, its clear that when The Last Jedi comes in, Justice League will absolutely have its task cut out. Why? Simply, because the Star Wars reboot series has got its massive fan-base which has anticipatedly been waiting for the second film in the rebooted Star Wars trilogy, after 2015’s The Force Awakens (and not to mention that it grossed a massive $2 billion and is currently the third highest grossing movie of all-time).
Distributed by Warner Bros, Justice League is currently running good in the theatres worldwide. Grab your tickets now, if you still, haven’t seen the movie yet.
