It has been nearly a month since any announcement has come out from the camp of Vijay’s upcoming film, Mersal. The action entertainer directed by Atlee under the Thendandal Studios Limited banner featuring a musical score by Academy Award-winning composer had its audio launched amid much fanfare on August 20.
Mersal has an ensemble star cast apart from Vijay with names like Kajal Aggarwal, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen as the female leads along with SJ Suryah as the antagonist followed by Sathyaraj, Vadivelu, Kovai Sarala, Sathyan, ‘Motta’ Rajendran, Misha Ghoshal among others in vital supporting roles.
Up until now, there had been no word on the film’s teaser which was initially planned to be launched earlier this month. Now, word has come from the makers themselves. It was confirmed moments back by Thenandal Studios Limited that their 100th production venture, Mersal‘s teaser will be out on September 21st at 6PM.
So, ‘Thalapathy’ Fans, you know what to do now. Time to gear up!
