Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo on Friday officially launched new Rose Gold colour variant of its selfie-focused “Oppo F3” smartphone in the Indian tech market at a price tag of Rs. 19,990. If you don’t remember, the Oppo F3 was first launched in India in the month of May this year only in Gold colour option. One month after the launch, the company launched a new Black colour variant of the smartphone and now the Chinese vendor has introduced a luscious Rose Gold variant in the country. With the new Rose Gold shade, the Oppo F3 will now be available in three attractive body colour options including Rose Gold, Black and Gold. Carried a such an attractive price tag, the new Oppo F3 Rose Gold variant is now already made available for purchase in India via e-commerce website Flipkart.com as well as all leading offline retail stores across the country.
The Oppo F3 Rose Gold variant packs the perfect blend of glass and metal design, elegant looks, daintiness and luxuriousness, which are all associated with the Oppo brand. However, apart from its paint job, the rest specifications and features are same to same as we have seen in the other existing Oppo F3 models. The key highlight of the Oppo F3 is its dual front-facing camera setup, one of the camera comes with a 16-megapixel standard lens, while the other front camera features an 8-megapixel sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens. Just like the Oppo F3 Plus front camera, “one for selfie, one for group selfie”.

Just in case you’d forgotten, the Oppo F3 comes equipped with a 5.5 inch In-Cell TFT Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a scratch resistance 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T6 octa-core processor along with Mali T860 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the phone is backed up by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a dedicated microSD card slot. Talking about its software fronts, the dual-SIM (Nano-SIM) Oppo F3 runs company’s ColorUI 3.0 custom UI skin, based on Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. Interestingly, there is a new feature called “Clone Apps” that allows you to use two WhatsApp accounts on the smartphone. In terms of design, the Oppo F3 looks similar to the Oppo F3 Plus that was launched in March.
In terms of photography, Oppo F3 comes with a 13 Megapixel 1.3-inch sensor rear camera with Dual Focus Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), dual tone LED flash and full HD 1080p video recording. Talking about its selfie camera, Oppo F3 comes with a dual front camera setup, which includes a 16-megapixel 1.3-inch primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with 120-degree wide-angle view for group selfies. The smartphone comes with a Smart Facial Recognition feature that will automatically notify users to switch to ‘Group Selfie’ mode if there are more than three people in the frame. The Oppo F3 comes with various camera features, including the Beautify 4.0 app, Screen Flash, Selfie Panorama and Palm Shutter.
Oppo F3 sports a full-metal unibody design with a front-mounted fingerprint scanner that is housed underneath a capsule-sized physical Home Button of the device. The company claims that the fingerprint sensor unlocks the smartphone in as little as 0.2 seconds. On the connectivity front, the Oppo F3 comes with two different slots for two different SIM cards (Nano + Nano) and a separate slot for a micro-SD card (triple-slot tray). Apart from this, the smartphone also offers various connectivity options including 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB OTG support, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microUSB v2.0 for charging and data transfer. On the battery front, the Oppo F3 smartphone draws its power from a 3,200mAh non-removable battery. Dimensionally, the handset measures 153.3 x 75.3 x 7.3mm and weighs 153 grams.
