South Indian films were popular only in India and especially in the southern region until the magnum opus Baahubali hit the screens. S.S. Rajamouli created the blockbuster cinema that did wonder all over the world. Also the magnum opus Baahubali earned a whooping sum of money. The film will be remembered for the years for its magnificence. Not only the first part of the film but the second part Baahubali: The Conclusion achieved the height of success.
The maker of the film S.S. Rajamouli was appreciated for the creation of such film. The actors of the film Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka Shetty and others gained so much appreciation for their performance. But what went wrong for the protagonist of the film that is Prabhas as he denied working in the film Baahubali.
The reason behind Prabhas’s denial is the time period which was consumed in the making of the film. As we all know the film took Five years to release and it made the actor stuck on the single project for five years.
The 38-year-old actor told to PTI: “Actors have limited time. We also have a shelf life. I think I can’t give five years to one project now. Even if I ever give that much time, I will simultaneously keep doing other projects because age is also a factor. It will not be good for my career.”
Prabhas also said his focus will be on a huge number of the audience: “Most of my projects now will have a universal appeal. Regional cinema is different, so now I am trying to choose stories that cater to my audiences across the country. I will do stories which most of the audiences like.”
About working in Bollywood, he said: “I am definitely interested in doing films in Bollywood. And not only in Hindi, I am open to working anywhere in the country, even if it is Punjabi. I will do films in any of the languages, provided the script is good. The region and the language don’t matter.”
