Bollywood’s Bhai Salman Khan and B-world’s biggest director Karan Johar aka KJo have come together for a new movie which will have Akshay Kumar in the main lead.
The untitled movie will be directed by Anurag Singh.He has also directed the Punjab hits Jatt and the Juliet 1 and 2.
KJo and Salman will co-produce under the banner of Dharma Productions and Salman Khan Films outfits. Production will begin almost in September of 2017 and the film will release in 2018. First time ever these two production houses have come together for a movie.

The story of the movie has not been revealed yet but industry sources say that it is possibly supposed to be a historical drama based on the 1897 battle of Saragarhi fought between the Afghan tribesmen and British Indian army.
Karan Johar is an actor, producer, writer, director and also a TV host. His last directorial movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was one of the box office hits of 2016 with collections of $35 million. On the other hand Salman Khan’s Sultan earned around $86 million worldwide.
Akshay and Salman’s friendship have previously starred together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Jaan-E-Mann. The Sultan hero even made a surprise visit at 2.O launch in Mumbai to lend support to Akshay Kumar’s southern magnum opposite starring Rajnikanth; where Akshay Kumar will be playing a negative lead in the movie.
