Gal Gadot is Back With Wonder Woman Trailer (VIDEO)

The almost-perfect Gal Gadot is back in and as Wonder Woman and things just got hotter in the DC movie universe!

Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the trailer of the upcoming movie just 22 hours ago and the video has already exceeded 5 million views on YouTube. The video has been trending #1 on YouTube and it has some very valid reasons to justify its popularity.

  1. It has Gal Gadot in it.
  2. She has a sword in her dress
  3. She is deflecting bullets with her bracelets and stopping bullets mid air.
  4. She is raising totally real questions about human attire (“How do women fart in a evening gown”).

The trailer ensures a good amount of goosebumps and a heavy dose of adrenaline. Check out the video below:

Directed by Patty Jenkins, the movie is all set to hit the theaters June 9, 2017. Wonder Woman was the highlight of the otherwise-mockable “Batman vs Superman.” Her appearance was lauded widely and although her screen-time was limited to a mere few nano-minutes, Gal Gadot stole away a big chunk of the limelight.

Ever since, the comic-movie universe has its eyes peeled for Wonder Woman – the movie. Speaking about her character in an interview, Gal Gadot said she was open about doing any kind of roles when she started out in the industry but over time, she wanted to take on roles that showed the strong side of women.

“Before, I didn’t have the privilege to choose what I wanted to do. I just wanted to work. But now I’m in a position where I can actually choose. When I just started as an actress, you go to L.A. and the managers and the agency set up general meetings with directors and writers. They always ask you the same questions: “What are you looking for? What types of movie would you like to do?” And I always said, “I’m open.” I’m very open to all different genres because I’m a very open-minded girl. But eventually, I told them that I wanted to be able to show the stronger side of women. I didn’t want to do the obvious role that you see in Hollywood most of the time, which is the heartbroken girl who’s waiting to be rescued by the guy, blah, blah, blah. I wanted to do something different,” Gadot told Interview Magazine.

Elaborating on playing Wonder Woman, Gadot added:

“Oh, my God, I’m so excited about this role. I feel like I’ve been given a huge opportunity to inspire people, not only women. And not because of me but because of who Wonder Woman is and what she stands for.”

Armed with her whip, shield, good looks and incredible strength, Wonder Woman is all set to take over our hearts! Are you ready?
