After launching the Aqua A4+ last month, the home-grown handset manufacturer Intex Technologies on Wednesday expanded its Aqua series of smartphones portfolio with the launch of two new budget smartphones, dubbed as the “Intex Aqua Lions X1 and Intex Aqua Lion X1+” in the Indian tech market. Both the new smartphones come with a shatterproof display, one-time 1-year screen replacement warranty, Android 7.0 Nougat OS, 4G VoLTE support and much more. Both the smartphones feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for the biometric authentication process As for pricing, the Intex Aqua Lions X1 has been launched in the country with a price tag of Rs. 7,499 and will be soon available for purchase in India before Diwali in Glossy Black, Champagne, and Blue colour options. On the other hand, the Intex Aqua Lion X1+ has been priced at Rs. 8,499 and will be soon available in the country in Black, Champagne, and Blue colour options.
As part of an introductory offer, the company is offering one-time 1-year screen replacement warranty with both the smartphones along with up to 25GB of additional 4G data for six months from Reliance Jio on a recharge of Rs. 309 and above.
Intex Aqua Lions X1 Specifications and Features:
Starting with the Intex Aqua Lions X1 model, the smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and a shatterproof glass coating on top of the display. Talking about its power and performance, the device is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with Mali-T720 GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the Intex Aqua Lions X1 is backed up by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB by using a microSD card. On the software front, the Aqua Lions X1 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box.
In terms of photography, the Intex Aqua Lions X1 comes equipped with a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and an LED flash module. On the front, the handset features a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling as well.
