The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Zopo had launched their first dual-camera smartphone, called the “Zopo Speed X” in the Indian tech market in June this year. Now almost one month after its launch, the smartphone is officially becoming available in India. Priced at Rs. 9,499, the new Zopo Speed X will be made available for purchase in India starting today exclusively via e-commerce website Amazon India in four attractive body colour options including Royale Gold, Charcoal Black, Orchid Gold, and Space Grey. The main highlights of the smartphone are its 13MP+2MP dual rear camera setup and Niki AI-based digital personal assistants. The Zopo Speed X comes with pre-installed Niki AI (artificial intelligence) – an application which enables conversational commerce on the device and avail crucial services such as mobile recharge and bill payments; cab and hotel bookings; events and movie ticketing; food ordering; home services and nearby search all by simply chatting with Niki.

Zopo Speed X Specifications and Features:

In terms of specifications, the Zopo Speed X comes equipped with a 5-inch full HD 2.5D ARC display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The full-HD IPS display offering a colour depth of 16 million and pixel density of 441 ppi. Under the hood, the device is powered by a 64-bit 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T720GPU to handle the graphics. In terms of memory, the Zopo Speed X is backed by a 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. Talking about its software front, the device runs on Google’s Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out-of-the-box. The Zopo Speed X also features a fingerprint sensor that is housed on the back panel of the device.

In terms of optics, Zopo Speed X houses a dual camera setup on the rear along with a LED flash. One camera sports a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, while the other camera comes with a 2-megapixel sensor. The rear camera features include OmniVision OV13850 sensor, autofocus, and depth-of-field. On the front, there is a 13-megapixel front-facing shooter with OmniVision OV12830 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and a soft LED flash for capturing selfies and making video calls even in low light.

In terms of connectivity, the Zopo Speed X is a dual-SIM smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM + Nano-SIM. Apart from this, the device also offers various connectivity options including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM Radio, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microUSB port for charging and data transfer. Sensors on the device include a Fingerprint sensor (rear-mounted), Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, and Proximity sensor. On the battery front, the Zopo Speed X packs a non-removable 2680mAh battery. Dimensionally, the handset is just 8.1mm in thickness and weighs only 131 grams.
