Lenovo has launched its smart band named HX06 Active in India for the price of Rs.1,299, and it will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The smart band device is compatible with Google’s Android OS 4.4 and above, and it can also be coupled with Apple’s iOS based iPhones, running on iOS 9 and above. It has Bluetooth 4.2LE technology, to pair with smartphones.
Before HX06 Active, Lenovo had previously launched HX03F Spectra in April.
The device comes with a lot of features like footstep counter, sedentary reminder, calorie counter and sleep monitor. It can also distinguish between various actions being performed by the person, like running, swimming and cycling. It’s also got an anti-sleep mode, which can make one remain awake via vibrations.
There is also call identification reminder and alarm reminder which has been instilled into this smart band. The device has a 0.87inch monochrome OLED screen, which shows time, battery, date, and other stuffs. The HX06 Active device runs on Low Energy Bluetooth v4.2.
It is also water resistant and dust resistant with a certification of IP67. The battery is of LiPo which can provide 8 days of usage in just a single full charge-company claims it. But there is no heart rate monitor, as its just a budget device.
